L’hospital de cartró de Capdella

Design and layout of “L’hospital de cartó de Capdella” book.

“In the Fosca’s balley there’s an hospital build of cardboard. Gnawed by time and wrinkled, like a book, the hospital explains the history of our people”.

The book, written by the architect Sígrid Remacha and edited by the Molí Paperer de Capellades Museum, offers us the history about a very unique bulding: A cardboard hospital that served the workers of the Capdella Power Plant in 1912.

The book band is made of handmade paper at the Molí Paper Museum. With a composition inspired by hospital cardboard, cotton, rags and recycled paper have been used to produce it.
