“In the Vall Fosca valley, there is a hospital made of cardboard. Gnawed by time and wrinkled, like a book, the hospital explains the history of our people.”

Written by architect Sígrid Remacha and edited by the Molí Paperer de Capellades Museum, this book recounts the history of a very unique building: a cardboard hospital that served the workers of the Capdella power plant in 1912.

The book is bound in handmade paper from the Molí Paperer Museum. The design was inspired by hospital cardboard, and we used cotton, rags and recycled paper to produce it.
