La Canuda que ya no existe

Design, layout and packaging for the “La Canuda que ya no existe” photobook. The publication collects Kim Manresa’s coverage about the closing of the legendary second hand bookstore located at Canuda street, Barcelona.

An old book originary from the bookstore, contains Kim Manresa’s book. The photographies were disposed in reverse chronological order, in this way, the closing of the bookstore opens the story, but the ending leaves us with the vivid memory of a bookstore with a soul.

The packaging turns the publication into a unique object that contains La Canuda spirit. It manages to generate the mystery and secrets that characterized the bookstore, its corridors and basements full of books.
