We used laser technology to die-cut the inside of old books. Each book was completely different from the others, resulting in a unique package for each and every copy. Only 100 units were produced.
Kim Manresa’s book is housed in an old book originally from the bookstore. The photographs are placed in reverse chronological order. By putting them in this way, the closing of the bookstore opens the story, but we are left in the end with the vivid memory of a bookstore with a soul.

The packaging turns the publication into a unique object that contains spirit of La Canuda. It successfully evokes the mystery and secrets that characterised the bookstore, with its corridors and basements full of books.
